ESSA Accredited: Health & Safety
We're proud to announce that Evolve is now officially ESSA Accredited for Health & Safety! ✅
Since 2008, we’ve been designing and delivering some of the most ambitious and complex builds in the events industry. This accreditation from the Event Supplier and Services Association is a powerful endorsement of the standards we uphold across every project. The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) is a trade body representing the very best suppliers of goods and services to the events industry. They focus on the importance of industry safety, sustainability and training, as well as driving excellence and shared best practice. Evolve has been a member of ESSA for over 12 years and is now ESSA Accredited to provide maximum reassurance to our clients and partners.
- Independently audited
- Safe & Responsible
- Compliant paperwork
- High Health & Safety standards
ESSA Accredited is an annual company-level qualification, that is independently audited and provides demonstrable proof that the member company is operating at the required level. The Health & Safety Accreditation aligns with the requirements of ISO 20121 Sustainable Event Management and other management system standards whilst adopting the principles of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) member schemes such as CHAS, Safemark and Greenlight.

Sustainability accreditation
In addition to our Health & Safety accreditation, we are proud to announce that we have achieved ESSA Level 4 Sustainability Accreditation, scoring 87 out of 100 points in this comprehensive, evidence-based assessment of our environmental and social practices.
What This Achievement Means
The ESSA Sustainability Accreditation is an independent, annual verification of sustainability performance across the events and exhibition industry. Unlike self-declared environmental statements, this accreditation requires substantial evidence across 12 key management areas, assessed by independent evaluators who award points based on demonstrated performance rather than good intentions. The ESSA framework aligns with established ISO standards, including ISO14001 and ISO20121, ensuring our practices meet recognised international benchmarks.
The assessor required concrete evidence of our practices, from documentation and reports to certifications and demonstrable outcomes. This rigorous approach ensures that our accreditation reflects genuine action rather than aspirational statements.
