spherical brand motif
Lumine came to MWC 2026 with a clear ambition: to move beyond the generic branded box they had previously occupied and create something that genuinely expressed who they are. The result exceeded that ambition. The client renewed their contract before the show was over, and it's easy to understand why.
The design concept was built around Lumine's own spherical brand motif, with a circular 360-degree reception desk at the heart of the stand providing full visibility across the space and making navigation instinctive for visitors. Around it, 22 pods for the group's subsidiary companies created a coherent, confident representation of the entire Lumine ecosystem - individually distinct, but unmistakably unified. What was striking, given the scale of what was being represented, was how clean and uncluttered the space felt. Clear lines of sight, considered proportions, and a disciplined design language kept the stand legible and elegant despite its ambition.
luxury business hospitality
The front half of the stand made a bold, high-impact statement: predominantly black, with two double-height LED totem columns at the front corners carrying content around the stand with real visual drama in the aisle, complemented by LED light bars that defined the space with precision. This was the public face of Lumine - striking, confident, and impossible to miss.
The transition into the invite-only back half offered a more comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Natural timber flooring, softer furnishings, and a quieter palette created a hospitality environment closer to a boutique hotel than a trade show. Seven meeting rooms - four upstairs in a chic executive lounge, three downstairs - were fully prebooked a week before the show opened.
Their previous stand was a more generic design "a stand with a brand" - a square space with a logo applied to it. This was something fundamentally different: a design concept that took Lumine's branding to a deeper level, embedding it in the shape of the space, the form of the lighting, and the flow of the visitor journey. It didn't just display the brand. It made you feel it.
